Narrative:

I was cleared to land on runway 24 and hold short for departing traffic on runway 33. At touchdown, I started to porpoise violently and I elected to abort the landing. I applied full power and climbed. I saw departing traffic on runway 33 and I banked to the left and passed over the departing traffic on runway 33. I believe that if I had not aborted the landing I would have crashed landed. As I climbed, I announced to control that I was doing a go around. The situation could have been prevented by my making a successful landing and also by the control tower not allowing traffic to depart on runway 33 until it was certain that my landing was successful.

Title: AN SMA LNDG AT PNE, PA, MAKES A GAR AND COMES CLOSE TO ANOTHER DEPARTING ACFT.

Narrative: I WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 24 AND HOLD SHORT FOR DEPARTING TFC ON RWY 33. AT TOUCHDOWN, I STARTED TO PORPOISE VIOLENTLY AND I ELECTED TO ABORT THE LNDG. I APPLIED FULL PWR AND CLBED. I SAW DEPARTING TFC ON RWY 33 AND I BANKED TO THE L AND PASSED OVER THE DEPARTING TFC ON RWY 33. I BELIEVE THAT IF I HAD NOT ABORTED THE LNDG I WOULD HAVE CRASHED LANDED. AS I CLBED, I ANNOUNCED TO CTL THAT I WAS DOING A GAR. THE SIT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED BY MY MAKING A SUCCESSFUL LNDG AND ALSO BY THE CTL TWR NOT ALLOWING TFC TO DEPART ON RWY 33 UNTIL IT WAS CERTAIN THAT MY LNDG WAS SUCCESSFUL.
