Narrative:

Departed st augustine and contacted dab for flight following to tix. South of dab, controller told me to squawk VFR. Again I contacted dab and informed that I needed following to tix. I was told to contact patrick and I tried on 3 separate occasions, no answer. Finally, I made contact with tix tower. They gave me a squawk code and vectored me 270 degrees to tix. Once on the ground, I was informed that patrick couldn't communicate with me due to my altitude. I was in restr airspace shortly after handoff by dab. I do sincerely apologize.
