Narrative:

As I turned aircraft in toward jetway there were baggage carts and people in the way. I stopped short and waited for area to clear. With wing walkers and green light I started to taxi again. My copilot said 'the marshaller indicates for us to slow down.' our speed indicator showed our speed to be only 4 KTS, but I moved throttles to idle. We both thought it strange that he thought we were moving too fast. Only after passenger disembarked did I discover that the jet blast overturned a baggage cart and injured 2 people. Also, I had never been stopped (entering a gate) with the tail of my aircraft pointing directly across ramp at another concourse. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: callback made to determine what airport was involved with this incident. Reporter states he was in atl at the time of event.
