Narrative:

While taxiing to the end of the active runway, I came upon black and yellow lines across the taxiway with flashing yellow lights on either end of the lines. Never having seen this arrangement before or even heard of it, I inadvertently crossed this line. The controller immediately stopped me and had me do a 180 degree turn back across the line. At no time was there any incursion on the active runway. Later, checking my airport flight, I could find no reference to this type of line at this airport. If the lights at the line had been red, I would have stopped immediately. If I ever see this situation again, or anything like it, I will certainly ask for guidance by the controller.

Narrative: WHILE TAXIING TO THE END OF THE ACTIVE RWY, I CAME UPON BLACK AND YELLOW LINES ACROSS THE TXWY WITH FLASHING YELLOW LIGHTS ON EITHER END OF THE LINES. NEVER HAVING SEEN THIS ARRANGEMENT BEFORE OR EVEN HEARD OF IT, I INADVERTENTLY CROSSED THIS LINE. THE CTLR IMMEDIATELY STOPPED ME AND HAD ME DO A 180 DEG TURN BACK ACROSS THE LINE. AT NO TIME WAS THERE ANY INCURSION ON THE ACTIVE RWY. LATER, CHKING MY ARPT FLT, I COULD FIND NO REF TO THIS TYPE OF LINE AT THIS ARPT. IF THE LIGHTS AT THE LINE HAD BEEN RED, I WOULD HAVE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY. IF I EVER SEE THIS SIT AGAIN, OR ANYTHING LIKE IT, I WILL CERTAINLY ASK FOR GUIDANCE BY THE CTLR.
