Narrative:

Aircraft anti-skid was deferred and neglected to check NOTAMS for runway closures. At our time of arrival, the long runway was closed, and too heavy to land on short runway with anti-skid deferred. We turned on anti-skid and it indicated normal after lowering gear. Apparently anti-skid malfunction was intermittent, as it worked for us. Landed without incident. Remember to check NOTAMS.
