Narrative:
We had a tailwind and a ground speed of 513 KTS. Considering this, we began our descent too late and had a high sink rate (4000 FPM) for the autoplt to capture our assigned altitude of 12000 ft. I consequently descended to 11700 ft before returning to 12000 ft.
