Narrative:

Center cleared us to 10000 ft at bells intersection which we read back. PF verbally agreed with the set altitude in the altitude alert window. Aircraft leveled off at 10000 ft as frequency was changed to approach control. Aircraft checked in at 10000 ft. Soon thereafter, approach control asked if we were at 10000 ft. We replied yes as it was assigned by center. He requested a climb to 11000 ft which we did. No traffic conflicts were noted.
