Narrative:

Taxiing plane each time I came to the end I would check out magnetos, carburetor heat, directional gyroscope, temperature, controls. The last time when moving controls in and out turning wheel must have caught on directional gyroscope yoke mount GPS. Trying to get it loose, lost control and went into OAT field. Shut engine off but still bent propeller one side when propeller stopped straight up and down. Mount on GPS moved forward allowing it to catch on knob on directional gyroscope bracket. Could cause a bad accident on the plane. Would like to show how this could save someone else's plane or life.
