Narrative:

We picked up moderate wake turbulence from preceding aircraft at FL340 (airbus 340). We offset 1/2 mi to avoid turbulence. At time of encounter A340 was at 12 NM (my radar). Normal contrail and wake turbulence contrail was separate and distinct with wake contrail at our altitude. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter participated in the structured wake turbulence callback program.
