Narrative:

Short, low altitude flight between tus and phx. 2 man crew. Captain (PF) checking distance to fix near 12000 ft MSL leveloff, while I was getting ATIS for phx. We leveled off at 12300 ft MSL and immediately descended to 12000 ft MSL. Altimeter settings at tus and phx varied by 100 ft. I had not changed to phx altimeter setting yet. Captain had already changed over to phx altimeter setting. I don't know what center showed on their screen. There was no conflicting traffic.
