Narrative:

Aircraft was given a dsnct clearance and heading to intercept sfo 095 degree radial. Copilot set up oak VOR by mistake. Started to intercept when advised by ATC that we weren't established on correct radial. Given a vector for the visual to re-intercept charted visual procedure. That vector put us on a course where we were 300 ft lower than charted visual assigned.
