Narrative:
The VOR check was not within 30 days of this flight. Although I checked the log and noted that we needed a VOR check before the flight, I forgot to do it. In the future if this happens again, I'll put a note on the control wheel to remind myself. Also, communicating to the captain about this problem may have helped because he would have reminded me.

Title: COMMUTER FO FORGETS TO INFORM THE PIC THAT THE ACFT IS IN NEED OF A VOR CHK PRIOR TO ANY IFR FLT.
Narrative: THE VOR CHK WAS NOT WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THIS FLT. ALTHOUGH I CHKED THE LOG AND NOTED THAT WE NEEDED A VOR CHK BEFORE THE FLT, I FORGOT TO DO IT. IN THE FUTURE IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN, I'LL PUT A NOTE ON THE CTL WHEEL TO REMIND MYSELF. ALSO, COMMUNICATING TO THE CAPT ABOUT THIS PROB MAY HAVE HELPED BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE REMINDED ME.
