Narrative:

ATC (ZMA/pbi approach) gave flight clearance to descend from 8000 ft to 6000 ft abeam pbi heading 090 degrees magnetic. At approximately 7000 ft a TA TCASII occurred, soon followed by an RA with a pull-up. The first officer was flying and started a pull-up maneuver. I (captain) then saw aircraft northbound out of first officer's side window and noticed aircraft was still closing our position. First officer increased pull-up and I noticed aircraft turning easterly (towards us). We continued to climb and accelerated away from his intercept. I then asked ATC about aircraft and they didn't have that aircraft on radar until aircraft made easterly turn. After RA was over we continued for a normal approach to runway 27R at pbi. The RA aircraft appeared to be a twin engine light air carrier, ie, possibly an aztec, etc.

Title: B767-200 DSNDING TO 6000 FT ON VECTOR TO PBI ENCOUNTERED LIGHT TWIN AT 7000 FT. TCASII TA RA TO PULL UP. SAW TFC TURNING TOWARD THE B767 AND INCREASED THE CLB AND SPD. ATC DID NOT HAVE THE TFC ON RADAR UNTIL TFC TURNED TO AVOID. WHEN CLR OF TCASII ALERT, CONTINUED APCH TO RWY 27R.

Narrative: ATC (ZMA/PBI APCH) GAVE FLT CLRNC TO DSND FROM 8000 FT TO 6000 FT ABEAM PBI HDG 090 DEGS MAGNETIC. AT APPROX 7000 FT A TA TCASII OCCURRED, SOON FOLLOWED BY AN RA WITH A PULL-UP. THE FO WAS FLYING AND STARTED A PULL-UP MANEUVER. I (CAPT) THEN SAW ACFT NBOUND OUT OF FO'S SIDE WINDOW AND NOTICED ACFT WAS STILL CLOSING OUR POS. FO INCREASED PULL-UP AND I NOTICED ACFT TURNING EASTERLY (TOWARDS US). WE CONTINUED TO CLB AND ACCELERATED AWAY FROM HIS INTERCEPT. I THEN ASKED ATC ABOUT ACFT AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE THAT ACFT ON RADAR UNTIL ACFT MADE EASTERLY TURN. AFTER RA WAS OVER WE CONTINUED FOR A NORMAL APCH TO RWY 27R AT PBI. THE RA ACFT APPEARED TO BE A TWIN ENG LIGHT ACR, IE, POSSIBLY AN AZTEC, ETC.
