Narrative:

Standard ICAO pushback procedure followed up to point of pilot advising 'stand by' while second engine is started. Upon completion of second engine start, 'after start' completed. Taxi clearance requested and received, began to spool engines for taxi when ground crew advised over interphone 'stop, stop.' parking brake was then reset. Completed ICAO pushback disconnect. Prior to takeoff, we were advised lead mechanic had confirmed there was no damage to aircraft or towbar. Tug was out of crew's line of sight. Alertness on part of ground crew limited this to very little if any aircraft movement. Suggest a flag be installed on tugs that would be visible from cockpit.
