Narrative:

ZFW had issued a clearance to cross karla intersection at 7000 ft MSL. As crossing over bgp VOR, I (captain) left #1 radio to pick up new arrival ATIS on #2 radio while first officer monitored #1 radio during descent. When I came back to #1 radio to contact approach control, I failed to remind the first officer again of our crossing restr, thus being at 7600 ft MSL at karla intersection. Even though no aircraft conflict, this was poor CRM on my part and should not have been focused on arrival ATIS.
