Narrative:

Landed at unfamiliar airport with local pilot. Local pilot advised departure procedure as fly west of smoke stacks and contact departure. I did not know there was a restr area (ft knox) near by. I entered restr area and contacted approach/departure thinking they were the only ones in area. They told me I was in hot restr airspace and directed me out of it. I relied on local information and misunderstood it.
