Air carrier X at 17000 ft inbound to cak visibility tvt V523 dalts cak. Air carrier Y at 16000 ft to cvg via 15 degree radial to join cince 1 cvg. I called traffic to the 2 aircraft. I cleared air carrier X to 11000 ft, then attempted to reclr air carrier X back to 17000 ft. Separation was not maintained.
