Narrative:

While being radar vectored for approach into stl, we were picking our way between buildups when we encountered a brief episode of hail and moderate CAT. The remainder of the approach and landing was uneventful. Post shutdown inspection showed 2 vortex generators missing from the left wing and both wingtip strobe lights broken.

Title: FLC OF A BA32 ENCOUNTERED HAIL DAMAGE DURING ARR BTWN TSTM BUILDUPS CAUSING BOTH WINGTIP STROBE LIGHTS BROKEN AND 2 VORTEX GENERATORS TO BE MISSING.

Narrative: WHILE BEING RADAR VECTORED FOR APCH INTO STL, WE WERE PICKING OUR WAY BTWN BUILDUPS WHEN WE ENCOUNTERED A BRIEF EPISODE OF HAIL AND MODERATE CAT. THE REMAINDER OF THE APCH AND LNDG WAS UNEVENTFUL. POST SHUTDOWN INSPECTION SHOWED 2 VORTEX GENERATORS MISSING FROM THE L WING AND BOTH WINGTIP STROBE LIGHTS BROKEN.
