Narrative:

We were cleared to runway 5R when we were about 500 yards from runway 5L. We taxied across the approach end of runway 5L and ground control asked us why we hadn't held short of runway 5L. We told him that we had been cleared to runway 5R and he said that in mex you have to hold short, then call and get permission. We looked everywhere for that information -- in part 1 and 2 and we could not find anything. Is it anywhere? It would be nice if it were in the messages on the flight plan.
