Narrative:

Landed at pdk on runway 20L and ground advised to 'clear the runway, cross runway 20R, and call ground.' ground was extremely busy -- couldn't get a word in edgewise -- and pilot entered parallel taxiway to ramp. Both of us realized we shouldn't have and finally got around. Nothing was said to us. Both of us reviewed the aim and vowed to not let rush of passenger, checklist, etc, detract from proper procedures. No conflicts observed.

BOTH OF US REALIZED WE SHOULDN'T HAVE AND FINALLY GOT AROUND. NOTHING WAS SAID TO US. BOTH OF US REVIEWED THE AIM AND VOWED TO NOT LET RUSH OF PAX, CHKLIST, ETC, DETRACT FROM PROPER PROCS. NO CONFLICTS OBSERVED.
