Narrative:
I was cleared for visual approach and told to contact the tower and it started raining hard. I encountered turbulent air and forgot to contact tower. I did put the tower frequency in the radio, but did not realize until on the ground that I had not contacted the tower. I was concentrating on landing the airplane.

Title: BE9F PLT NEGLECTS TO COM WITH TWR WHEN RELEASED BY APCH TO CONTACT TWR.
Narrative: I WAS CLRED FOR VISUAL APCH AND TOLD TO CONTACT THE TWR AND IT STARTED RAINING HARD. I ENCOUNTERED TURBULENT AIR AND FORGOT TO CONTACT TWR. I DID PUT THE TWR FREQ IN THE RADIO, BUT DID NOT REALIZE UNTIL ON THE GND THAT I HAD NOT CONTACTED THE TWR. I WAS CONCENTRATING ON LNDG THE AIRPLANE.
