Narrative:

ZMA reported our altitude as FL355 when it was steady state cruise at FL350, smooth air. The controller reported our flight level due to crossing traffic. Subsequent controller indicated that radar coverage was 'spotty' in the area and sometimes not reliable, also initial controller said sometimes when they have converging traffic radar did not always give accurate information.

Title: RPTED SIT OF ACFT ALT BEING DISPLAYED 500 FT HIGHER THAN ASSIGNED. RADAR COVERAGE RPTED AS SPOTTY AND SOMETIMES INACCURATE BY CTR CTLR.

Narrative: ZMA RPTED OUR ALT AS FL355 WHEN IT WAS STEADY STATE CRUISE AT FL350, SMOOTH AIR. THE CTLR RPTED OUR FLT LEVEL DUE TO XING TFC.
