Narrative:
I was captain on an air carrier flight on mar/sun/97, phx to slc. On the flight log a reduced thrust takeoff was entered in error. A full thrust takeoff was made due to MEL xa and MEL xb FMC inoperative. The first officer entered reduced thrust takeoff by habit since approximately 90% of our takeoffs are reduced.

Narrative: I WAS CAPT ON AN ACR FLT ON MAR/SUN/97, PHX TO SLC. ON THE FLT LOG A REDUCED THRUST TKOF WAS ENTERED IN ERROR. A FULL THRUST TKOF WAS MADE DUE TO MEL XA AND MEL XB FMC INOP. THE FO ENTERED REDUCED THRUST TKOF BY HABIT SINCE APPROX 90% OF OUR TKOFS ARE REDUCED.
