Narrative:

During the approach at swf, the crew felt that the autoplt was not functioning properly, therefore it was shut off. The flight director had to be brought back on line. There was considerable communication between the crew at this time. The approach and landing were made without any problems, except the tower was not contacted. The first contact between the aircraft and the tower was during rollout. Approach did not hand us off to tower.
