Narrative:

After engine start contacted ground on 121.7. Was given taxi instructions to runway 28. After crossing runway 14/32 changed to tower frequency 120.3 and was told by controller that he had been trying to contact us to tell us to hold short of runway 14/32. Prior to switching to tower frequency we had been monitoring ground frequency and prior to crossing runway 14/32. We both checked both directions of runway 14/32 for traffic, with no traffic noted. All normal cockpit and checklists were performed to company procedures and standards. (Taxi instructions were to 'taxi to runway 28.')
