Narrative:
While working final vector (lga sector), I relieved a controller at XA00 local. A go around was being revectored for an approach when a departure came off and climbed right into the go around.

Title: A CTLR WORKING COMBINED APCH AND DEP CTL POS IS INVOLVED IN LOSS OF SEPARATION BTWN A DEP ACFT AND AN ARR ACFT MAKING A GAR. THE POS HAD JUST BEEN COMBINED WITH THE RELIEVING CTLR NOT BEING BRIEFED ABOUT THE DEP ACFT.
Narrative: WHILE WORKING FINAL VECTOR (LGA SECTOR), I RELIEVED A CTLR AT XA00 LCL. A GAR WAS BEING REVECTORED FOR AN APCH WHEN A DEP CAME OFF AND CLBED RIGHT INTO THE GAR.
