Narrative:
Flying an airplane that I believed to be within annual and finding out after I landed that it may not have been within annual inspection. Flight was conducted for repossession purposes and no logbooks were available and I did not think that I needed a ferry permit.

Title: PVT PLT OF A C182 OPERATED THE ACFT WHEN IT WAS OUT OF ANNUAL INSPECTION. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLT WAS FOR REPOSITIONING.
Narrative: FLYING AN AIRPLANE THAT I BELIEVED TO BE WITHIN ANNUAL AND FINDING OUT AFTER I LANDED THAT IT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN WITHIN ANNUAL INSPECTION. FLT WAS CONDUCTED FOR REPOSSESSION PURPOSES AND NO LOGBOOKS WERE AVAILABLE AND I DID NOT THINK THAT I NEEDED A FERRY PERMIT.
