Narrative:

On feb/sun/97, I was flying a load of skydivers when my radio stopped working. I was told on the ground that I could continue flying the skydivers, because I was in class east airspace and because I was in class east airspace the FARS state that I don't have to have 2-WAY communication. A total of 4 paradrops were made without communications or advisories to eglin approach control. I went home and studied the FARS under part 105. I believe that after reading FARS 105.14, and far 105.19 that I was in violation. It is my fault for not being more up to date on the FARS. In the future I will not fly skydivers unless I have ATC authority/authorized and 2-WAY communication.
