Narrative:

Just before pushback at gate in sju, agent had problem closing forward entry door due to jetway canopy. Upon inspection a scratch was noted, but no other significant damage noted. Upon landing in phl, maintenance was notified of incident as a precaution. Also informed next crew and went on to next flight. It was later discovered that phl maintenance canceled next flight due to damage to the forward entry door seal.

Title: FLC OF A B737-400 FLEW ACFT TO NEXT SCHEDULED STOP AFTER BEING ADVISED BY THE GATE AGENT THAT THE PAX JETWAY CANOPY INTERFERED WITH THE PAX ENTRY DOOR CLOSURE. MAINT PERSONNEL UPON ARR INSPECTED THE DOOR AND GNDED THE ACFT DUE TO A DAMAGED DOOR SEAL.

UPON LNDG IN PHL, MAINT WAS NOTIFIED OF INCIDENT AS A PRECAUTION. ALSO INFORMED NEXT CREW AND WENT ON TO NEXT FLT. IT WAS LATER DISCOVERED THAT PHL MAINT CANCELED NEXT FLT DUE TO DAMAGE TO THE FORWARD ENTRY DOOR SEAL.
