Narrative:

I'm the private pilot and sole owner of a C150. I usually fly it by myself. On this day, I went up with an instructor to practice lndgs under strong wind conditions (12 KTS, gusts to 20 KTS). Instructor adjusted radio volume control, and we both noticed a dead spot where it would sometimes cut out while talking to the tower. On the third and final landing (a full stop), we taxied off the runway at taxiway east. Apparently the controller told us to expedite the taxi, or use another taxiway, but we did not hear him due to intermittent radio due to dead spot. Need to get radio fixed.

Title: PVT PLT OF A C150 FAILED TO FOLLOW TAXI INSTRUCTIONS AFTER A FULL STOP LNDG DUE TO A MALFUNCTIONING RADIO RECEIVER VOLUME CTL.

Narrative: I'M THE PVT PLT AND SOLE OWNER OF A C150. I USUALLY FLY IT BY MYSELF. ON THIS DAY, I WENT UP WITH AN INSTRUCTOR TO PRACTICE LNDGS UNDER STRONG WIND CONDITIONS (12 KTS, GUSTS TO 20 KTS). INSTRUCTOR ADJUSTED RADIO VOLUME CTL, AND WE BOTH NOTICED A DEAD SPOT WHERE IT WOULD SOMETIMES CUT OUT WHILE TALKING TO THE TWR. ON THE THIRD AND FINAL LNDG (A FULL STOP), WE TAXIED OFF THE RWY AT TXWY E. APPARENTLY THE CTLR TOLD US TO EXPEDITE THE TAXI, OR USE ANOTHER TXWY, BUT WE DID NOT HEAR HIM DUE TO INTERMITTENT RADIO DUE TO DEAD SPOT. NEED TO GET RADIO FIXED.
