Narrative:
I mistakenly set my altimeter to 30.68 during the in- range check, rather than 29.68. As we descended through 11000 ft, our assigned altitude at spica, the PNF observed the error and questioned the discrepancy. I immediately climbed back to 11000 ft. The lowest altitude was 10600 ft MSL. We should have verified each other's altimeters during the in-range check.

Title: CAPT FORGETS TO SET HIS ALTIMETER TO PROPER SETTING DURING DSCNT INTO DTW. FO CALLS OUT TO HIM HIS MISTAKE, THE CAPT THEN CLBS BACK TO CLRED ALT.
Narrative: I MISTAKENLY SET MY ALTIMETER TO 30.68 DURING THE IN- RANGE CHK, RATHER THAN 29.68. AS WE DSNDED THROUGH 11000 FT, OUR ASSIGNED ALT AT SPICA, THE PNF OBSERVED THE ERROR AND QUESTIONED THE DISCREPANCY. I IMMEDIATELY CLBED BACK TO 11000 FT. THE LOWEST ALT WAS 10600 FT MSL. WE SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED EACH OTHER'S ALTIMETERS DURING THE IN-RANGE CHK.
