Narrative:

On arrival mci, the ATIS stated that runways 1R, 9/27 closed and numerous txwys closed, expect ILS runway 1L which is plowed full length. We were cleared for visual runway 1L. On short final, we were given landing clearance and told to exit at the end, taxiway A4. We were close in, so I could only glance at the airport chart and could see the taxiway at the end was taxiway A1. After touchdown, I asked tower to confirm exit on taxiway A4, they said affirmative. There was blowing snow that was reducing visibility along the runway and txwys, we saw taxiway A4 marker and made a right turn but, after reaching taxiway a, we realized we had exited on taxiway A5, not taxiway A4. We don't know if taxiway A5 was closed or not since specific closed txwys were not given on ATIS. To preclude this kinds of problem, tower should advise flcs early in the approach on which txwys to exit so crews have enough time to look at the airport chart to plan their exit.

Title: AN ACR FK10 TURNED OFF THE RWY AT TXWY A5 VICE TXWY A4 ASSIGNED.

Narrative: ON ARR MCI, THE ATIS STATED THAT RWYS 1R, 9/27 CLOSED AND NUMEROUS TXWYS CLOSED, EXPECT ILS RWY 1L WHICH IS PLOWED FULL LENGTH. WE WERE CLRED FOR VISUAL RWY 1L. ON SHORT FINAL, WE WERE GIVEN LNDG CLRNC AND TOLD TO EXIT AT THE END, TXWY A4. WE WERE CLOSE IN, SO I COULD ONLY GLANCE AT THE ARPT CHART AND COULD SEE THE TXWY AT THE END WAS TXWY A1. AFTER TOUCHDOWN, I ASKED TWR TO CONFIRM EXIT ON TXWY A4, THEY SAID AFFIRMATIVE. THERE WAS BLOWING SNOW THAT WAS REDUCING VISIBILITY ALONG THE RWY AND TXWYS, WE SAW TXWY A4 MARKER AND MADE A R TURN BUT, AFTER REACHING TXWY A, WE REALIZED WE HAD EXITED ON TXWY A5, NOT TXWY A4. WE DON'T KNOW IF TXWY A5 WAS CLOSED OR NOT SINCE SPECIFIC CLOSED TXWYS WERE NOT GIVEN ON ATIS. TO PRECLUDE THIS KINDS OF PROB, TWR SHOULD ADVISE FLCS EARLY IN THE APCH ON WHICH TXWYS TO EXIT SO CREWS HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO LOOK AT THE ARPT CHART TO PLAN THEIR EXIT.
