Narrative:

The flight crew on flight was assigned a crossing restr of 6000 ft at sakki intersection on the sakki 4 arrival into hnl. The captain (flying) miscalculates the descent point to be 20 mi too late and hence flight was unable to comply with its crossing restr. The first officer did recognize the problem and was able to communicate to the captain and ATC before actually crossing sakki.
