Narrative:

Takeoff at XX00 pm from venice, fl, class G airspace to remain in pattern for night currency, needing 3 takeoffs and lndgs to full stop. On first approach to land, followed checklist through mixture and propeller, but failed to extend landing gear. Realized gear was up too late to pull up. Damage to front gear doors, propeller, and possibly to engine. No injuries. Only PIC on board. I need additional instruction in night conditions. Thorough concentration on checklist and procedures will prevent recurrence.
