Narrative:
We were shooting a river approach to runway 18 at dca with a strong southwest wind. I was flying and felt comfortable up to the final turn to final. Even with a 30 degree bank (maximum I was willing to go at low altitude) we came pretty close to the north shore of the potomac in the vicinity of the jefferson memorial (P-56).
