Narrative:

Flying AB123 at 17000 ft, ATC clearance to descend to 13000 ft. Read back 'AB123, 13000 ft.' controller said nothing. A min later, atl asked altitude -- clearance was for AC123. Why did controller accept my readback? Working multiple frequencys is why.
