Narrative:

While being vectored for an ILS approach to runway 16R we got a terrain warning and a pull up command. I added power and climbed until the warning stopped. We first got the warning at 6000 ft and it stopped at about 11000 ft. We notified the controller and he reclred us to descend. We flew the approach without any further warnings. The controller said we caused no conflict and that it was a non event as far as he was concerned.
