Narrative:

After landing on runway 31 at gregg county, we were instructed to turn onto taxiway B. I misunderstood the taxi instructions to be 'taxi to parking.' instead, the instructions were to 'hold short of runway 35.' as I taxied past the hold line, ground control advised me urgently of my mistake. I quickly applied brakes and stopped just short of the runway. Tower controller advised the departing single engine cessna to make an early turnout. Permission to cross was then granted and we taxied to parking with no further incident.

Title: GND INCIDENT OCCURS WHEN CORPORATE JET SUFFERS A RWY INCURSION AFTER XING THE HOLD LINE FOR RWY 35. A DEPARTING CESSNA MAKES AN EARLY TURNOUT.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 31 AT GREGG COUNTY, WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO TURN ONTO TXWY B. I MISUNDERSTOOD THE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO BE 'TAXI TO PARKING.' INSTEAD, THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE TO 'HOLD SHORT OF RWY 35.' AS I TAXIED PAST THE HOLD LINE, GND CTL ADVISED ME URGENTLY OF MY MISTAKE. I QUICKLY APPLIED BRAKES AND STOPPED JUST SHORT OF THE RWY. TWR CTLR ADVISED THE DEPARTING SINGLE ENG CESSNA TO MAKE AN EARLY TURNOUT. PERMISSION TO CROSS WAS THEN GRANTED AND WE TAXIED TO PARKING WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT.
