Narrative:

Aborted takeoff due to bag door light and returned to gate. Problem was net in door. Problem was fixed and taxied out and departed. Failed to contact maintenance control as per company operations due to trying to get passenger on time to make connecting flts. We should have contacted company and thought through problem better instead of worrying about time.
