Narrative:

I was departing gso climbing to 7000 ft. I had adjusted the altimeter setting to 29.92 to obtain a pressure altitude reading and did not set it back correctly to the local setting at gso, therefore when I thought I was leveling off at 7000 ft MSL in reality I was at 7500 ft MSL and made an immediate correction with my altitude and altimeter setting to be level at 7000 ft. There wasn't any traffic conflicts. This was my 8TH duty hour of 13 hour duty hours.
