Narrative:
On departure from tri, cleared to hmv shine 5 arrival clt. After passing hmv, set and tracked outbound on the 094 degree radial vice 156 degree radial (radial off vxv on shine 5 arrival). Center called at 15 DME and gave heading of 170 degrees to intercept 314 degree radial clt. Captain was off frequency copying ATIS for clt and getting gate assignment. Cause: misread STAR, in moderate turbulence.
