Narrative:

I landed aircraft on runway 23L. Captain took control on rollout at 80 KTS. Captain turned off on high speed taxiway H, crossed taxiway J (parallel to runway 23L), and onto taxiway K. We did not have permission to cross taxiway J. A B727 was northbound on taxiway J. Realized we were going to cross in front of him. Flashed his lights. Captain kept going even after I asked him to hold short of taxiway J. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter alleges that this was an event that was avoidable. The PIC was aware of the crossing ground traffic and actually accelerated the aircraft in order to 'beat the other guy out.' the tower had not issued any clearance at all on their landing rollout so the first officer expected the captain to stop the aircraft in accordance with standard procedures. First officer alleges that this was a '1 man show' with the captain at the helm.
