Narrative:

During push back and during start of #1 engine, aircraft rolled 3 ft forward and pinched tires against push back bar after ground crew told flight crew to set brakes. During start, I was holding brake pressure with brake pedals and starting #1 engine. I was unable to set brakes with handle because left hand was holding start switch and right hand was holding fuel control switch. At the same time we had problem with start of #1 engine (failed starter). Without knowledge I relaxed brake pressure, aircraft rolled forward and I stepped on brakes. Tires pinched against push back bar. No damage to aircraft or push back vehicle or push back bar, as was inspected by mechanic. No one injured on ramp or aircraft.

Title: ACR MLG ON PUSH BACK WAS STARTING #1 ENG WHEN GND CREW REQUEST PARKING BRAKE BE SET. UNABLE ACCOUNT HOLDING START SWITCH AND COULD NOT ACTIVATE PARKING BRAKE. HOLDING BRAKES WITH FOOT PEDALS. PROB STARTING #1 AND RELAXES PRESSURE ON BRAKE ALLOWING ACFT TO MOVE FORWARD STRIKING THE TOW BAR. NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES.
