Narrative:
VFR flight to visit seriously ill relative in connersville, in. After landing at connersville, in, I received a message from airport line person to call the area supervisor at day approach. He asked if I was flying at 5500 ft from the southwest into connersville. I answered yes. He advised me that a controller had reported an incursion into R3403 (restr airspace). I advised that I believed I was west of airspace. Since day did not control this airspace, I was asked to call a mr X at ZID. I called mr X and he told me he had a report from a controller who said I had violated this airspace. I advised him I believed I was west of this airspace. He asked me to call FAA quality assurance in indianapolis. I was navigating by use of VFR map. I thought I was west of airspace. At the time, in retrospect, I was alert to see and avoid but my mind may have been thinking of my relative. Flight path is near northwest corner of R3403, attention needs to be given to all aspects of flying.

Title: UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE. PROX OF RESTR AREA BY SMA PLT ON A VFR XCOUNTRY.
Narrative: VFR FLT TO VISIT SERIOUSLY ILL RELATIVE IN CONNERSVILLE, IN. AFTER LNDG AT CONNERSVILLE, IN, I RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM ARPT LINE PERSON TO CALL THE AREA SUPVR AT DAY APCH. HE ASKED IF I WAS FLYING AT 5500 FT FROM THE SW INTO CONNERSVILLE. I ANSWERED YES. HE ADVISED ME THAT A CTLR HAD RPTED AN INCURSION INTO R3403 (RESTR AIRSPACE). I ADVISED THAT I BELIEVED I WAS W OF AIRSPACE. SINCE DAY DID NOT CTL THIS AIRSPACE, I WAS ASKED TO CALL A MR X AT ZID. I CALLED MR X AND HE TOLD ME HE HAD A RPT FROM A CTLR WHO SAID I HAD VIOLATED THIS AIRSPACE. I ADVISED HIM I BELIEVED I WAS W OF THIS AIRSPACE. HE ASKED ME TO CALL FAA QUALITY ASSURANCE IN INDIANAPOLIS. I WAS NAVING BY USE OF VFR MAP. I THOUGHT I WAS W OF AIRSPACE. AT THE TIME, IN RETROSPECT, I WAS ALERT TO SEE AND AVOID BUT MY MIND MAY HAVE BEEN THINKING OF MY RELATIVE. FLT PATH IS NEAR NW CORNER OF R3403, ATTN NEEDS TO BE GIVEN TO ALL ASPECTS OF FLYING.
