Narrative:

Level at 3300 ft MSL, 250 KTS, in clouds IMC. GPWS 'terrain' warning came on. Climbed to approximately 5000 ft plus to VMC. Notified approach. Vectored and re-descended to approach into ithaca. I assume there was a hill or rising terrain below our flight path, but I was IMC.

Title: FLC OF A FK10 CLBED IN RESPONSE TO A GPWS WARNING. BELIEVE THAT A HILL OR SOMETHING MUST HAVE CAUSED THE WARNING. THE ROUTING AND ALT GIVEN BY ATC WAS THE NORMAL ROUTING USED.
