Narrative:

As I was taxiing a DC8 turning onto taxiway wa from wm on runway 14R at iah, the left main gear went off the taxiway at the taxiway wm-wa intersection. The gear stuck in the mud. No damage to aircraft or airport. The turn was approximately 120 degrees to the left. If a larger fillet had been placed at that intersection, the incident would not have happened. Also I could probably avoided a problem by asking ground control for clearance to taxi to the inner taxiway.
