Narrative:

Since the 'dfw metroplex plan' airspace changes were implemented, a parachute jumping operation at tri-county airport that was clear of all STAR rtes is now on the byp 1 STAR. This caused an unsafe situation during heavy arrival periods, with jets and propellers passing in very close proximity to the jumping operation (jets 110, propellers 60 or 70). Numerous TCASII events have been documented, and several air carrier pilots have taken or requested evasive action or vectors around the jump aircraft. A meeting between the parachute jumping operators and pilots, FAA, FSDO, and natca, produce little hope for changing procedures.
