Narrative:

The inspector found that the temporary certificate of registration had expired by 2 days on oct/sat/96. He questioned me if anyone was aware of the expired certificate. I told him that I did not think so and that I would notify my director of maintenance and ask. Seeing that we had just taken delivery of the MD83. All the paperwork had been applied for through our operations branch of leasing company a and that I was not aware of the certificate being so close to expiring.
