Narrative:

In sum: during a routine daily check, the left engine oil service cap was inadvertently not secured. The aircraft made the flight to the next station with no incident. It did require oil service and a leak check was accomplished. The contributing factors to this incident were: time was running short and the oil service door needed a speed tape repair. I became rushed and distracted by having to replace the speed tape and secure the door.
