Narrative:

Low altitude/conflict alert alarms at every position where the tags are displayed, whether your data tag(south) or someone else's causes confusion and distractions. Having color radar would alleviate this problem (easy to spot and easy to block from your position, when your aircraft are not involved). Supplemental information from acn 350965: working AR3 (final for runway 18R) the positioned alarmed no less than 6 times. I observed 2 aircraft, neither were my aircraft. The other 4 aircraft or more I did not observe or ignored because it is south pointless distraction. Resolution to problem is color displays.
